Hello all, I am a new member been around the hvac industry my whole life.
have been employed full time in hvac/ refrigeration for the last 25 years.
I am trying to locate a bench mounted rule/ straight edge . 10 to 12 feet long, graduated in 16th's. to be able to do layout using this edge and a square.
I remember my father doing layout this way (tinner for 30 years )
I have been searching the web for a rule of this type but am having little luck.
thanks for any help

i myself have never seen one..
have you considered using a measuring tape..or a surveyors tape..they are stiffer and flatter and more resistant to streching and shrinking..
