Right. I'll figure out something here? How about a forum on Testing For industry and I can break that up into different sub forums?

Thats sounds like a good idea...definately a popular subject. I have been on some electronics forums where they get so old & long, that if you start at the beginning.....soon you are really confused and forgot what you were reading about

there is a question on there about a ship ventilator. What layout. the gores are triangulation but i thin the bottom straight piece of pipe would be considered parallel line. I chose paralell and triangulation

also that question about minimum distance to a vav. in my area we use 3 x dia. of inlet. but i saw 4x on the test and chose it. I realy wish the government would put some backing behind a code book like SMACNA so we could get this stuff set in stone. Anyone know the correct answer to this question?

I was taught that 4x duct diameter is the rule of thumb. I believe SMACNA recommends this as well.

I'm currently in the Advanced level of schooling. I have all my Hours done and can write the C of Q as soon as I'm done if I want.
I would like to know by experiance should I wait and study a little bit (like a month) or get it over with right after school?
